++ One of the options before the Lambeth Commission which will report on 18.10.04, is a plan whereby the sixty or so bishops who consented to Canon Gene Robinson's election as a bishop will be excluded from the next Lambeth Conference.

Another set of bishops, those who have been identified as having had extramarital affairs, will be admitted only to selected events at the next Lambeth Conference, but will have to wear large red "A's" on their foreheads.

Those who have evidenced symptoms of attachment to Mammon since the last Lambeth (luxury automobiles, employing servants, exceeding the standard of living of their clergy, etc) will be admitted only to the opening social events.

Further, those who have avoided obvious needs for a prophetic ministry in matters of social justice for fear of offending the big pledgers will not be permitted to attend the business sessions of the next Lambeth Conference, but will be permitted to wait tables at the opening social events. -- plagiarized, but cleaned up some

++ Tennessee's diocese is infiltrated by the Network of Anglican Communion Dioceses and Parishes, the American Anglican Council, the Anglican Mission in America, Forward in Faith, et al. These closely related organizations are all associated with the current schismatic malady affecting the church. They all seem to insist that there is only one approach to scripture, theirs, and that, as well, the whole church must accept their theological position as the only correct one.

In early September, Diocese of Tennessee Episcopalians founded a chapter of Via Media, an organization to support and affirm ECUSA as the American expression of Anglicanism dedicated to maintaining unity and a broad center in the church. The national organization now includes thirteen such groups in twelve dioceses.
