Out of Nowhere is an occasional piece, intentionally daily, but not likely. On Fridays, it picks up a theme from the coming Sunday's propers. Be free to use it as you will. Attribution would be nice. Copyright © 2003-2008 Lane Denson III.

I've been reading your blog now for a few weeks and like it. I don't remember where I found you... another Anglican-related blog? I can't remember. I just like your blog! I lived over 20 years in the Diocese of Texas (St. Stephen's/Houston), now back East (where I grew up as a kid/teen) in the Diocese of Vermont (Cathedral Church of St Paul/Burlington). Cheers!

I loved reading your bit, "The Village People" and your Out of Nowhere column as well as Covenant. I just discovered your writing thanks to a posting to Integrity News from Elizabeth Keaton +. I am an active layperson in St. Francis by the Lake Episcopal Church in the Diocese of West Texas. The fundies are prominent here but we progressives continue hugging them as often as we can. I will be a regular reader of your columns. Thank you
